On August 13, a Bon Odori festival was held at Morito Beach.

Bon Odori is one of Japan’s beloved summer traditions.
Although it unfortunately rained that evening,
the event was moved from its originally planned outdoor venue to “OASIS,” located near Morito Beach.

Despite the rain, many people gathered at the venue,
creating a lively atmosphere filled with people of all ages.

Live music filled the venue, and everyone enjoyed dancing together to the rhythm.
From people dressed in yukata to children joining in the festivities,
the dance circle gradually grew wider, bringing the entire venue together in a joyful celebration.

While the event had a different atmosphere from an outdoor Bon Odori festival,
the more intimate setting at OASIS created a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The rain may have changed the setting, but it also brought everyone a little closer together,
making it a memorable summer evening filled with smiles.

Summer in Hayama is about more than just the sea and fireworks.
